What’s New

New features added to v3.0 of Auditca™ include:

  • Auditca™ Main Dashboard

    Under the Home tab, there is now a main Auditca™ dashboard that provides quick statistics about user related audits. You can sort the data to get an overall picture of the state of each audit. Also, available options, based on user permissions, are displayed for the user.

  • Report Template Configuration

    Under Administration tab > Customization > Customize Report Template, there is now an area for system administrators to quickly and easily create or edit report template layouts for each audit type tracked by the Auditca™ system.

  • Improved Data Tables

    Many Auditca™ data tables have been modified throughout the application to allow for easy and quick data sorting, filtering, and paging. Also, options to change the number of results displayed per page have been added.

  • Vendor/Company Display Section

    Under Audits tab > New, there is now a dashboard while selecting the vendor/company being audited. Users can either select from previously audited companies, perform a search on previously audited companies, or enter in a new company.

  • More Regulations Added

    More 21 CFR regulations have been added into the USA regulations section as well as ICH regulations into the ‘International’ regulations section of the Auditca™ regulatory library.

  • Automatic Update of 21 CFR Regulations

    In the Auditca™ Regulatory Library, 21 CFR’s have been configured to be automatically updated once viewed by a system user. Auditca™ checks the latest FDA regulations and will retrieve the latest regulations for the FDA if a more recent regulation is found.

  • Internationalization

    Auditca™ has support for various languages.

  • Date & Time Format Display

    Under Administrations tab > Customization > Settings, there is an option to change the format for the display of the date and time throughout the system.

  • Improved User Groups & Permissions
  • Configurable Observation Field Labels

    Under Administrations tab > Customization > Settings, there is an option to change the default system labels that are displayed within the observation add screen.

  • Audit Checklist
  • Configurable Audit, Observation, & Report Number Format

    Under Administrations tab > Customization >Settings, there are options to change the default system configuration for the auto numbering format of audit, observation, and report numbers.

  • Quick Access to Past Audit Reports

    There is now quick and easy access to past audit reports for the current company the user is performing an audit on.

    Added ability to manage attachments for any particular audit.

    Under Observations tab > New or Edit, there is now a section that allows for viewing more information about inputted observation. Users can now view additional information about the observation including Observation ID and Observation Auditor.

  • TinyMCE, Miscellaneous Enhancements

    Numerous modifications have been made to the TinyMCE (rich-text editor) functionality, including:

    • Added new text style support which will now use span elements internally instead of font elements.
    • Added full screen option to editor.
    • Added elements to the default valid_elements option so that it now contains all XHTML strict elements and a few transitional elements.
